Microgaming Goes Ape with New Tarzan Brand

Plans to Launch New Tarzan Slots

Tarzan slots to debut on desktop and mobile later this year.

The Isle of Man software group, Microgaming has managed to add another exclusive brand to its portfolio, with the signing of a licensing agreement to create Tarzan slots this year.

Microgaming signed the contract with Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. in a deal that was brokered by Creative Licensing Corporation, giving the casino software provider exclusive rights to launch slot games based on the Tarzan brand.

The new online slot will be launched to Microgaming partners on desktop and mobile platforms by the end of the year, according to a statement put out by the group this week.

World Recognized Slot Brand

Microgaming will take one of the world's most recognized brands and turn it into an exciting online casino game, as the group has done with several others such as Jurassic Park and Lara Croft. The star of the game will be the jungle hero, Tarzan, hosting his love-interest Jane and other friends.

The Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever, commented by saying: "Tarzan is recognized the world over, so we're excited to be launching a slot hosted by this timeless character. Our highly talented games team relish working with a new brand, to build a game that celebrates and embraces it."

"Having seen the game in prototype, I can honestly say the online slot will not disappoint Tarzan fans; operators and their players can look forward to the game's release this winter," added Raatgever.

Tarzan Slot Will Attract Players

Also commenting on the new Tarzan slot was the President of Edgar Rice Burroughs, James Sullos who said that his company could not be more pleased to license Tarzan and his friends to such a quality company as Microgaming.

"Their extensive experience in developing online slot games assures us they will build a game that will attract many fans and players to the game from around the globe," said Sullos.
